Carcinoma, Islet Cell

A primary malignant neoplasm of the pancreatic ISLET CELLS. Usually it involves the non-INSULIN-producing cell types, the PANCREATIC ALPHA CELLS and the pancreatic delta cells (D CELLS) in GLUCAGONOMA and SOMATOSTATINOMA, respectively.
