Pachyderma

Pachyderma: Thick skin, like that of a pachyderm (an elephant, rhinoceros, or hippopotamus). From the Greek pachydermos meaning "thick skin" from pachys meaning "thick" + derma meaning "skin." The adjective is pachydermatous.
