Osteoclasis

Osteoclasis: The surgical destruction of bone tissue. Osteoclasis is performed to reconstruct a bone that is malformed, often a broken bone that healed improperly. The bone may be broken and then reshaped with the aid of metal pins, casting, and bracing.
